Summer Dreams

Lazy Summer dreams,
Pillow tufted heads of pink
Ice cream licked slowly

Crystal candy tongue
You stand and salute me
Liquid languid lilt

CatV I am ENTHRALLED! What a beautiful presentation. I did not sign up to U-Tube to comment there, because I would have had to end the excitement of watching and listening, and hearing.

Years ago I played in a symphony orchestra (Cincinnat) and one part of a concert was a presentation such as yours, but with a live poet reciting her own stuff, coordinated with the music and the huge displays of photography.

Poet was as beautiful as the presentation she had composed: Music, Visuals, and Audio (Poetry).
It was spectacular!

I remember she (and the whole 'show') was Oriental. She pronounced the words "cherry blossoms" as "Cherry Brossoms". I fell in love with her. Nuff said.

Thank you SO much for sharing your talentS and work. MY life would be less without tour blog today!

Peace....and love.

Hi Cat,
(For some reason the first photo is not loading on my computer.) I do see the second luscious pink flower. Gorgeous! Enjoyed your tantalizing poem about it.

It's good to be back in blogland. (You knew me as "gel" through K.Lawson Gilbert's blog and I still appreciate the award and wonderful compliments you gave me about my poetry!). I'll return here another night and hope the entire post loads.

Such a lovely poem. Ironically, my husband just handed me a gift before I read this. The gift is a perfume called "pink sugar" and I swear this is what this poem would smell like, if it had a smell! Sweet delicious summer.
