We're getting too much rain. Mold counts high, allergies torture. Still, beats watering the garden every night. Hey, thanks for all the support during the Clarity of Night contest. Just to let you know, you were in my top twenty. Better yet, every time I think of producing a new video, I think of you. You've got more talent with that voice and presentation then I'll ever have. I tend to stir shit up here in Detroit.

Hope everything is going well with you and the boys!

Oh, that's awesome. I love your words, and the pepper is beautiful. You must have a green thumb. I'd love to see what you cook with it. Have a great weekend, Cat!

I love that! Where's some delicious cheese to put in that thing?

I love seeing the delectable parts of your garden, in addition to the beauties. He almost (almost!) looks too good to eat.

Let us know how he went down. And more pics, please. :)

Steve- :-) Cute!

Marion- I love eating from the garden. This is one of those fruits that makes it inside before I devour it.

Karen- I know, huh? James, my oldest, is visiting now until the 1st week of August.

JR- You rocked the contest JR. I was glad to see that my picking you was validated by Jason ;-) A fabulous story my man.

Aine- You wouldn't make a good hunter/gatherer then! Luckily we have this new fangled domesticated agriculture now, so it makes it all so much easier!

Julie- I do have a green thumb, it's true. Which is lucky because I like to spend a lot of time with the plants, and it would suck if I was always killing them. ;-) You can come for dinner, k?

Jason- Yum. Filled with yummy jack and then coated in a light batter and fried until the cheese melts out and becomes crispy, then the entire thing smothered in home made (and grown) salsa. Again, yum.

Sarah- The garden is exquisite these days. I can't believe we only have another month of a growing season! Did you happen to catch the sinister metaphorical overtones of my haiku? ;-) More pictures coming soon, I assure you!

My metaphorical radar must have been down last night (or out for repairs). But I LOVE seeing it from that perspective, too!
