CatV I am ENTHRALLED! What a beautiful presentation. I did not sign up to U-Tube to comment there, because I would have had to end the excitement of watching and listening, and hearing.
Years ago I played in a symphony orchestra (Cincinnat) and one part of a concert was a presentation such as yours, but with a live poet reciting her own stuff, coordinated with the music and the huge displays of photography.
Poet was as beautiful as the presentation she had composed: Music, Visuals, and Audio (Poetry). It was spectacular!
I remember she (and the whole 'show') was Oriental. She pronounced the words "cherry blossoms" as "Cherry Brossoms". I fell in love with her. Nuff said.
Thank you SO much for sharing your talentS and work. MY life would be less without tour blog today!
Steve, Thank you! What a wonderful presentation that must have been, to have it live like that. I probably would have fallen in love with her too! U R the best Stevaroni.
Aniket- I know! They made me hungry too!
Shadow-Thanks! :-)
Margaret-Ah, summer is here already in the South, loving it.
Vesper-Thanks! :-)
Jason- PINK ice cream licked slowly, yum. Thanks!
Rachel-Gotta love that pink, no one does it better than nature. :-)
Bro- Nice to see you! :-)
Karen-Thanks! :-)
Julie-You must be having a lovely summer too down there in the Piedmont. I gotta come down there and let you show me around! :-) Thanks for your comments.
Hi Cat, (For some reason the first photo is not loading on my computer.) I do see the second luscious pink flower. Gorgeous! Enjoyed your tantalizing poem about it.
It's good to be back in blogland. (You knew me as "gel" through K.Lawson Gilbert's blog and I still appreciate the award and wonderful compliments you gave me about my poetry!). I'll return here another night and hope the entire post loads.
Such a lovely poem. Ironically, my husband just handed me a gift before I read this. The gift is a perfume called "pink sugar" and I swear this is what this poem would smell like, if it had a smell! Sweet delicious summer.
