Orchid Invasion

You came from the blue
Holding a tiny red pearl
Sun spots can't hide you

Forgive me, please. When the graphic first showed itself, I saw only the top half of the orchid. And I said to myf, "Sure looks as if that orchid is riding a big scooter!

Try it, block from the waist down and you'll see what I mean.

Beautiful!
Thanks

LOL for Steve's comment. He is soo right! :-D

Loved the pic with an equally beautiful Haiku for company.

PS: You finally got your way around to posting the video. :-D

It looks cute on the sidebar. :-)

Say Hi to Marlow.

Beautiful work - both the photo and haiku. This is a great counterpoint to the very complex multi-media production you just finished. Simple and beautifully sweet.

Amazing pic Cat! I love orchids.

And the haiku is just beautiful with such delicate wording.

Loved it! :)

Such joy in that. Both the flower and the verse.

That orchid is miraculous in its colors, and mystery. It wants to hold its secret close, even as we want to discover it.

Gorgeous photo, Cat, with a perfect haiku to accompany it. We need to do a book of these things. ;)

The unexpected often have the greatest treasures to share.

Such a lovely thought (and photo) for this rainy day!! Thanks!
:)

(Now I must go back and see this scooter of Steve's...)

Steve E. - That's cute Steve. :-) Actually I see it, and a whole person having quite the jolly time in that orchid.

Aniket- Doesn't it look great on the sidebar. That was actually easier to size than the main one. I used the html/java gadget. Easy pie.

Calli-Your poem was so evocative! It really brought me into many memories. Echoes.

Karen- Thanks! I'm still recovering from that other complex thingy. Simplicity is the balance!

Bros-Your wish is my command! Thanks!

QDB- I know, huh? I love the combination of the gold yellow and the blue of the wall.

Laughingwolf- Thanks!

K. Thanks! Now to find an orchid painted in the bottom of a 100 year old gold rimmed teacup, that would be fantastic.

Deepa & Shadow, Margaret and Jason- Thanks! Joy abounds!

Sarah- I'm with you there, let's do it!

Aine- I agree! And look close, there's a kid on that scooter having WAY TOO MUCH FUN!

Me did the same thing. :-D

Lorenzo-Hi! And thanks!

K. Yes, just say yes!

Sawan, :-) Thanks!

Parv, hello and welcome! And thank you so much, I just was at your blog for a quick sec, but I will spend more time there soon. It looks very interesting!

Jen, You seem to be having online personality adjustments regularly, I hope its all going alright over there. I've been thinking about you.

SON de MOI! Hey sweet cheeks, your drawing today was really quite amazing. I'm always astounded at the detail in your artwork, but the Earth Day message was sublime if not painful. I'm proud of you, you astound me continually with your incredible artistic abilities. A great big cybersqueeze to you, can't wait for your visit.

Jen- I just realized I might have thought you were a different Jen, if so my sincere apologies for my statement. And hello! :-/
