Three Graces Under a Zebra Sky

Three Graces Under a Zebra Sky
Watercolor

Yes friends, there is more to life than Headless Buddhas. A person can't stare at stillness forever! I have been a very busy bee lately. In addition to taking classes in InDesign and Wordpress and Dreamweaver, etc. I've also embarked on a process to learn the business of becoming a professional artist. I can't tell you how happy I am to sit down to paint with the knowledge that I am doing my job! So, I thank you again for your patience, my blogging friends are getting short shrifted as my schedule fills up, but I want you to know that you all have been SUCH an inspiration. Your support over this last year has been what has gotten me through a very difficult and introspective journey allowing me to come to this point. You people are just awesome and it is a blessing to know you.

The above painting is my view across the street. Those who have been following my blog for a while may remember The Three Graces, my beloved trees.

Yay, Cat! "I've also embarked on a process to learn the business of becoming a professional artist." This is such a formal way of saying something that, I feel, should really be said while jumping up and down. ;P

This may sound odd, but I was thinking of you this morning--and thinking of lots of people whose blogs I have not visited in awhile because life gets in the way, but something just told me to visit your blog today. And I am so glad I did. I'm really happy for you and the steps that you are taking and I can't wait to hear about this new stage of your creative life. :)

Take good care!
P.S. The painting is lovely!

And when your TRUTH is known so be the Glory! I am deeply joyful for you. I know the delight that is felt when we allow our creative expression to manifest. There is indeed much beauty and metaphor in your painting. I feel and hear its calling. May you ever be in the graces of, TRUTH, PRAISE, GLORY.

In friendship,
Rose Marie

Cat, I see everyone on here wishes for you the BEST in your vibrant ventures. School is necessary always--and good. Experience is necessary and good. you will have both, and you are young--yessss.

The world is yours, Baybeeee!

Congratulations, Cat! I have missed you, but I've so enjoyed your series lately, and the Graces are lovely.

You are one creative and talented lady. How does it feel to be able to do it all?

Hey Cat, you deserve the thanks and support! You're making Art and there's not a whole lot more one can say as Art is what makes life powerful and expressive!

May the road rise to meet you and the wind be at your back always - you've been a pro for a long time now!

I think I've told you before that my bro. is the design head in his firm. I am always in awe of what he creates with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver.

Its a great field to be in. Wish you all the luck to go with it.

since you have learned the art a'ready comes the part I personally do not like...learning the business.

Be well in the knowledge acquired Cat and don't let it make you nuts.

Let me know how InDesign CS4 goes. I took a class on it and have been conversing with online lit editors who are using it. Also, I'd like to know more about Dreamweaver so I can do my own lit mag. Keep me in the loop!

Everyone, I thank you so much for the encouragement and well wishes. I am so lucky to have you all as support.

Walking Man, I know! I have never been much of a business minded girl, but I figure I'll just let my feet lead the way.

JR, ID CS 4 can make awesome interactive PDFs. That's what I'd do if I were going to start a literary mag.
